WINE TERM OF THE WEEK: SUHO = DRY = BRUT
In Slovenian wine labeling, “suho” means dry, just like “sec” in French or “secco” in Italian. For still wines, "suho" typically means the wine contains less than 4 g/L of residual sugar.
For sparkling wines - Penina, it follows EU regulations:
✅ Brut / Suho - 0-12 g/L
So next time you see “Suho” on a bottle of Penina, you’ll know - it’s a dry sparkling wine with freshness and finesse, balanced by ripe fruit flavors!
